"I love the car cover. But these straps really mis the mark. They dont hold tightly. If you have high winds. . . . forget it. I had to find this expensive cover down the street filthy. When I first applied them, 3 out of 4 broke immediately. I had to wait for more to be sent. Which I do appreciate because the new ones haven't broken. Whats wrong with the traditional set up where the female end is sewen onto the cover, and a double ended male strap connects them. Thst alone makes any car cover worthy."
"These clips are trash. They're made of cheap plastic not meant for being put under a tensile load like these are meant to do. I've already been sent 2 replacement sets. I want a refund because they're that bad, but car covers won't give it to me."

"I love the car cover itself. It is an excellent quality and have been using it going on my 4th or 5th winter now. Has outlasted any of the other car covers even pricier ones I've used in the past. Keeps my old Pontiac just as shiny as when I put it away for the winter. My only issues are the gust straps which stretch out and get thin every two years & the absolute garbage you sell as the strap clips which I have to replace at least one or more every year due to them being chintzy. They're either too loose and the cover pulls out of them or if you make them snug enough the locking strap on the clip breaks. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of how much I like this cover, but it is very annoying to have to keep purchasing clips & new straps as often as I do. I have contacted carcovers. com about their straps & clips in the past & was just told to buy new ones."

"From the car cover I received to the gust straps that I got because they recommended them. I’m not happy with any of it. The cover doesn’t fit and the first time I used the gust straps the strap clips broke. I can only say that after calling and telling car covers about the straps they did send replacements but I have no confidence in them and have since got something else to use for securing the cover that doesn’t fit."
