I am a repeat customer because I believe in the quality and rugged construction of these waterproof car covers. No, they don't last a lifetime, but, they will last 2-3 years of continual outdoor use in the direct sunlight."
"This car cover is perfect! Exactly what I needed as the car stays out in the hot sunlight on most days. Thick and heavy as to stay on the vehicle. Wraps tightly in the front and back. Labels identify the front and rear. A tie cord comes with the cover and a lock, but I haven’t figured out to use it. Really haven’t needed it because of the weight of the cover alone. I love it! Hoping it will protect the car from any potential hail damage additionally."

"I have bought many covers in the past but this one fits amazing. Due to my spoiler I have a low point and water ponds on the rear the water never makes it pass the water proof outer layer. By far the best cover I have purchased. I will be buying more for my other cars."

"I have only used it once. I generally don't cover the wagon(1966 Bel-air wagon) during the summer. I drive it to often to want to put on and take off the cover. I got the cover for winter storage. I didn't have a garage to store the car in so we'll see how it does this coming winter. That said, the cover looks good, fits very well and is easy to use."

The materials feels more durable, whereas the Ultimate Shield degraded after three years of use on a car that is parked outside when at work, average of 9-10 hours in the sun. So, hopefully the Platinum Shield will last longer."
"This was not a cheap car cover so I expected that it would perform flawlessly (seems to me that I read something about a 10 year guarantee somewhere). Unfortunately, from its first use and first rain, it leaked. Sometimes just a little bit and other times most of the hood and parts of the windshield and roof are wet. I didn't expect it to fail immediately-- as had the less expensive (but not cheap) cover it had replaced. Actually, the one it replaced managed to stay waterproof for at least half a season. I was so hopeful. I'm disappointed. Christopher Creighton"
