"I have purchased five Platinum Shield car covers over the past few years. The covers have provided excellent protection for my cars against the high temperature summers in California. Great quality and fit perfect. I highly recommend."
"After getting an exterior premium exterior cover as a gift, I bought 6 more of the very best car covers these folks sell. I am happy with 5 of them, but the 6th one doesnt fit my 1960 Cadillac and the cover has no protection for the sharp fins on the 60, so its just going to rip over time. I tried to contact these folks but no reply. Apparently I only have 30 days to tell them it doesnt fit but after buying 6 covers from them I thought they might be a little more helpful."
"I am very happy with my new cover for my 1979 lincoln. It is the perfect size and the elasticity along the edges is firm. It keeps the rain and moisture off. The only difference between this new one and the one I ordered years ago is that the new one came vacuum sealed, so at the moment it is still very wrinkly."
"The basic car cover material is outstanding, no complaints. The issue I have is the seam thread fails thus making the cover unusable. No way to fix it and if you are past the warrantee period you end up throwing away a perfectly good cover because the seam (s) failed. This seems to be a problem across the industry as I have had four different manufacturers covers and everyone failed long one or more seam lines!"
"The pictures speak for themselves! If you plan to use these car covers out in the elements with no other cover like a carport stay away. I purchased a car cover for my 1992 Mustang and my 1976 F100 and both deteriorated within the first year. They advertise these can be used outside but that is simply not true. I live in the S. F Bay Area where we don't have terrible weather and they still gave out. btw, I did a warranty claim, and the replacements I received were of worse quality! Part of the reason I warrantied them was so that I could get the opportunity to get a survey and express my frustration and write this review. STAY AWAY!!!!"
"Unfortunately, it was too heavy so I was not able to use it. I could hardly lift it. I contacted Car Covers by email and received the return label. I appreciated the response and indicating what my refund would be. I paid for shipping and sent it back, but i am still waiting for my credit which I hope I receive very soon. Thank you."
