The Platinum Shield Truck Cover UC-T0 is highly regarded for its quality, material, and fit. Customers appreciate its durability, softness, and reflective properties, as well as its ability to keep the truck clean and provide excellent protection from sun and rain. However, opinions on water resistance are mixed.

"This is a nice truck cover. It seems to be waterproof so I added a vent even though the material says it is breathable. I also built a sloped frame out of plastic pipe to ensure the rain runs off and does not pool in the truck bed."
"Nice cover, fits well, stops water for a while until the plastics in the outer layer break down in the sun. The "lifetime warranty" is not very good, so you will pay at least half the cost of a new cover or more when the cover fails. Mine lasted almost 2 years in full AZ sun(no shade) before it started tearing. You will need something in the bed to hold the cover up and make the water run off, or it will turn into a pool. ."
"I would be more inclined to review this cover after a year or so of exposure to the elements. I was surprised that the cover came with accessories. A bag to store the cover in when not in use. A security cable to prevent theft or even blowing away in a high wind situation. A set of locks and keys to secure the cover when in use. I am very happy with my purchase and am inclined to buy again if the need arises. Shipping was fast and convenient. Thank you Car Covers for a (so far) good product."
"I originally bought a cover from seal skinned and they could not give me the correct size after two attempts. I went to carcovers. com and the first try they had my cover it fit perfect and it’s a great value."
"I purchased my first Platinum Shield Truck Cover back on January 2020. The cover worked well for the first few years, but within the last two years the cover has worn out, leaks, and has mold on the inside of the cover. I did order a second cover knowing about five years is the most you can expect the cover to last. My truck stays outside, all kinds of weather. it may be a better option to build a carport and forget the covers."
"This is the very best cover for my F-150 . . I tried 3 different places to get one and none of them fit . . it is a excellent cover and I recommend it to anyone looking for a great cover for there vehicle. . it is very well made and the price is a very good price"
"Had on truck through heavy rain. Listed as water resistant but it shed all water this time. Not good for an inside cover but works well outside."
"Best vehicle cover I’ve ever purchased. Fits well and gives the protection. We need here in the Pacific Northwest."
"life expected if staying outside all yr round is good 3yrs, maybe 4yrs at most when kept outside all year round 365"
"It came in a timely manner, fit good other than mirrors. No room for stock mirrors. Turned them in next to body. Then car cover worked. Other than mirrors very impressed."
